ORDER

The revision petitioner is the accused in S.T.C.No.798 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manapparai. The learned Magistrate, by judgment dated 04.03.2014, has convicted him under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year and a fine of Rs.5,000/-, in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for two months. As against the same, he filed an appeal in C.A.No.29 of 2014 before the Principal Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli. By judgment dated 27.06.2014, the lower appellate Court dismissed the appeal, thereby confirming the conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioner. Challenging the same, the petitioner has come up with this revision.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned counsel, on record, for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died in an accident. Thus, according to him, the revision petition has abated. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the same, this revision petition is dismissed as abated.
