r/w Section 66(E) of the Information Technology Act, altered into Sections 332(a), 310(4), 310(5), 310(6), 127(2), 296(b), 74, 76, 77, 311, 308(2), 351(3) of BNS, 2023, r/w Section 66(E) of the Information Technology Act, in Crime No.70 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons had molested the defacto complainant and other victims and ransom some amount. Hence the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the offence committed by the accused 2/4
is heinous in nature. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. After reading the FIR, this Court is of the view that the accused abused and attacked the ladies who are not having any support. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
