This petition has been filed to quash the the proceedings in M.C.No.35 of 2015 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District.

2. The petition in M.C.No.35 of 2015 was filed by the respondent herein under Section 125 Cr.P.C., for maintenance.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent had submitted that the maintenances case in M.C.No.35 of 2015 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate was concluded as early as on 20.01.2017 and therefore this petition, challenging the proceedings in M.C.No.35 of 2015 has became infructuous.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this criminal original petition is dismissed

as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
