Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.KARNAN.G., Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.THIRUVADI KUMAR, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner/appellant seeking to suspend the sentence of imprisonment imposed on him by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, (Fast Track Court) Kumbakonam, by Judgment, dated 22.04.2021, in S.C.No.66 of 2020.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the nature of offence and the gruesome manner, in which the crime (dacoity) has been committed, we do not think that it is a fit case for grant of suspension of sentence. Hence, this petition is dismissed for the present.
