ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.07.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a complaint to the respondent police against the proposed accused on 20.07.2017. But no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that the second respondent served summons to the proposed accused. Though the summons were received, they were not appeared for enquiry. He further submitted that there are number of previous cases pending against the proposed accused persons in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

various police stations. Hence, because of the non-cooperation of the proposed accused, this complaint was closed by the second respondent and the same was forwarded to the District Crime Branch, Trichy for further enquiry. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court.

5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the concerned forum to work out his remedy.

6. In the light of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to approach the District Crime Branch for seeking further action on his complaint.
