O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioners pursuant to the purchase made by them under a Court auction. 2.I have heard Mr.G.Balasubramanian, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioners is that despite a valid purchase made by them under a Court auction sale and representation made for issuance of patta, the respondents have not come forward to issue patta to the petitioners. Hence, the petitioners have approached this Court. 4.Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that except giving a representation for patta, the petitioners have not made any online application, which is now mandatory. 2/5

5.In view of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the Writ Petition in the manner as follow:

(1)The petitioners shall make an online application for patta based on the registered document in their favour within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and shall also remit the requisite fees to the fourth respondent;

(2)On such proper application being made and the requisite fees being remitted by the petitioners, the fourth respondent shall process the said application of the petitioners and if necessary call the petitioners for personal hearing and hold an enquiry regarding their title and thereafter, shall pass orders for issuance of patta on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter. (3)No costs.
