Heard, Mr.R.M.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents No.1 to 3.

2. The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction to the third respondent/Tahsildar to demarcate and fix four boundaries of the lands of the petitioner at Tharuvai Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District. The lands are situated at 1)Punjai Survey No. 939/1 to an extent of 0.05.50 Hectares, 2) Survey No. 939/2 to an extent of 0.06.50 Hectares, 3) Survey No. 939/4 to an extent of 0.05.50 Hectares, 2/5

4)Survey No. 939/20A to an extent of 0.07.00 Hectares, 5)Survey No. 944/39 to an extent of 0.00.50 Hectares, 6)Survey No. 944/40 to an extent of 0.05.50 Hectares, 7)Survey No. 944/44 to an extent of 0.02.50 Hectares, 8)Survey No. 944/45 to an extent of 0.02.00 Hectares, 9)Survey No.944/48 to an extent of 0.01.00 Hectares and 10)Survey No. 944/49 to an extent of 0.03.50 Hectares, totally measuring 98 cents. The petitioner had purchased the lands on 05.04.2013, by way of registered sale deed in Doc.No.2758/2013, registered in the Sub Registrar Office, Melapalayam, Palayamkottai. The petitioner had paid necessary charges for such survey.

3.In view of the above, a direction is given to the second respondent/Tahsildar, to, with the assistance of third respondent/Taluk Surveyor do the needful, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
