To direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Cr.No.218 of 2014 and to file final report in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

Alleging non-compliance of the order dated 31.10.2019, made in Cont.P.(MD)No.1437 of 2019, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, dated 31.10.2019, in Cont.P.(MD)No.1437 of 2019, the respondent police had completed the investigation in Crime No.218 of 2014 and submitted the final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Vadipatti, and the same was taken on file in P.R.C.No.8 of 2020.
