O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the land measuring 56 cents in the north-western portion out of a total extent of 1 Acre and 44 cents in Survey Nos.76/10B and 76/13, situated at Rachandar Thirumalai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, within Urayur Sub-Registration District, Tiruchi Registration District and to demarcate its four boundaries and consequently issue a sub-division patta within such time as may be fixed by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries and that a separate application has also been submitted for issuance of a sub-division patta. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and thereafter, the request for issuance of a sub-division patta would be considered.

Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 18.02.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties. It is also needless to state that after completion of the survey, the request for issuance of a sub-division patta shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law. Page No. 3 of 5
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
