ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 468, 471 and 420 IPC in Crime No.646 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.It is the case of the prosecution that the first accused established CRAI (Centre for Research and Innovation) and recruited the accused persons in order to notify the general public as if this institution is recognized by the UGC, for which fake appointment was issued by Calcutta Village and collected several corers from the innocent persons, who are aspiring for the post. For which a complaint has been lodged to the Joint Secretary and the same was forwarded to the respondent police and the same was registered. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he is also recruited by the first and second accused. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation is in preliminary stage and there are other persons, who are cheated by the accused persons and hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
