ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti to expedite the trial in C.C.No.210/2019 within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that one of the accused has challenged the entire proceedings in CC No.210 of 2019 before this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5620 of 2020 and it pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. In view of the above, the direction sought for cannot be considered, hence the petition stands dismissed. However subject to the outcome of the result in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5620 of 2020, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
