The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 28.12.2022.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation before the fourth respondent seeking correction of UDR entry regarding the extent of property in S.Nos.84, 85 and 91 in Anjur Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District. Though the representation of the petitioner was submitted as early as on 28.12.2022, till date no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 2/6
4. The learned Government Advocate, who appear for the respondents would submit that the competent authority to consider the request for correction in UDR entry is the second respondent and the representation has been submitted to the 4th respondent.
5. It is seen from the records, the petitioner already submitted a representation before the second respondent on 04.01.2022, seeking correction of UDR entry in the above mentioned survey numbers and the same was forwarded by the second respondent through his proceeding in O.Mu.C3/203/2021, dated 31.01.2022, to the third respondent with the copy marked to the fourth respondent seeking necessary action.
6. In view of the same, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.12.2022 and submit his report to the second respondent, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the report from the fourth respondent, the second respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.12.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a further period of twelve (12) weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. 3/6
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
