PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, a writ of mandamus forbearing the second respondent from conducting TNSET exam between 06.03.2025 and 09.03.2025 and consequently directing the second respondent to issue Fresh Notification for conducting TNSET Exam by adding the subject of Human Rights and Duties based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2025 and 25.02.2025. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to challenge the notification No.1/2024 dated 20.03.2024, which was issued inviting applications for TNSET examination without including the subject of Human Rights and Duties.
2. Considering the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, permission is granted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to challenge the notification No.1/2024 dated 20.03.2024 issued by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (earlier nodal agency) to conduct TNSET Examination.
3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
There shall be no order as to costs.
