ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue online patta in Survey No.556/15 and rectify FMB Sketch in Survey No.653/2B, situated at Thatooni Village, Karur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2026.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property and is in peaceful possession and enjoyment thereof. The extent of the property has been wrongly mentioned in the FMB Sketch. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation dated 27.01.2026 to the respondents seeking to issue online Patta and rectify the errors in the FMB Sketch. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and
appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
