ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 01.09.2025

and issue separate patta for the petitioner's land in T.S.No.593/4 to an extent of 9 cents (0.03.5 hectare) at Sindhu Poonthurai, Tirunelveli Taluk, Tirunelveli District, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner and is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property. The petitioner submitted an application dated 01.09.2025 to issue separate patta in respect of the subject property in her favour. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's application, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 01.09.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
