.. Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to conduct auction cum tender for leasing out the shops situated in Gandhi

Market at Dindigul Corporation by following the fair and reasonable procedure in terms of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and the rules made thereunder and allot the shops to successful bidders of the auction by fixing the fair rent within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.
