By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that since there are rival parties, the Tahsildar has referred the matter to the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Srivaikundam Sub Division, Thoothukudi District, for passing appropriate orders.

3. In the circumstances, the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Srivaikundam Sub Division, Thoothukudi District, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2021 and pass appropriate orders based on findings and on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
