2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed and the delay of 542 days is condoned on condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.
4. The amount deposited can be used for the purpose of infrastructure facilities for the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre.
