ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 323 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998, in Crime No.

25 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that there was a money dispute between the parties, as a result of which, a scuffle arose between them and the petitioner abused the de-facto complainant in filthy language and assaulted him with hands. On complaint, a case has been registered for the abovesaid offences.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and prays for anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner.

4.It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that the injured person had already been discharged from the hospital.

5.Taking note of the above said facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thanjavur District, and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
