O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2018, seeking regularization of service. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that his service should be regularized from 26.12.1988, since his salary was fixed in time scale of pay as per G.O.Ms.No.528, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (PER F) Department, dated 10.10.1988. Further, the respondent regularized the service of the petitioner's juniors as per the said Government Order. Seeking such a claim, the petitioner made a representation dated 24.10.2018. Since no orders have been passed on the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
