2.This Civil Revision Peition has been filed seeking for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.69 of 2024 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk. When the matter came up for hearing, I called for a report from the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk to indicate the pendency of the matters before her and as to when, the suits numbered in the year 2024 would be taken up for trial. 3.Pursuant to the said direction, they learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk has submitted a report that as many as 770 suits are pending on her file. Out of which, 142 suits are of the year 2024. She has also indicated that only 17 suits are ready for trial and an additional 12 cases are at the stage of evidence.

4.A perusal of the "B diary" shows that till date, the respondents herein have not completed the pleadings by filing a written statement. In addition, it also shows that an application in I.A.No.3 of 2024 is pending consideration. As the pleadings itself are not complete, this Court is not in a position to give a direction for expeditious disposal of the suit.

5.Ms.J.Saranya, learned counsel for the petitioner states that if a direction is given to the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk to dispose of the interlocutory application within a particular time, it will suit the ends of justice. Accordingly, the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk is requested to dispose of I.A.No.3 of 2024 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The perusal of the "B diary" also shows that the matter has been suffering adjournments for filing of written statement by the defendants for nearly a year. The learned Trial Judge shall give appropriate directions to the defendants to complete the pleadings so as to make the suit ready for trial.

6.This civil revision petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
