O R D E R

Heard the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.The case of the petitioner is that even though this Court had given a direction for conducting survey, it was not complied with. That led to the filing of this contempt petition.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that the survey authority could not conduct survey in view of the objection raised by one Saroja. The said Saroja along with one Rasammbal filed O.S.No.254 of 2001 on the file of Sub Court, Pudukottai for partition. Preliminary decree was passed. Since final decree is yet to be passed, obviously survey exercise 2/4

cannot be conducted. It is seen that I.A.No.2 of 2024 has been filed for passing final decree. The trial Court is directed to complete service as expeditiously as possible and ensure that final decree is passed. 4.This contempt petition is closed accordingly. 16.04.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias To:- 1.The Thasildar, Pudukottai Taluk and District.
