This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Virudhunagar Police Station, Virudhunagar to register the petitioner's complaint dated 19.02.2018.

2.Today, when the case was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's complaint has been enquired by the respondent police and the same has been closed by advising the petitioner to approach the Civil Court and he has also produced the copy of such statement. In the light of the aforesaid statement, the respondent police closed the petitioner's complaint. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
