[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.J.Lawrance, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the second respondent.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2026 to conduct a public auction for the 18 shops owned by the respondent - Municipality.

3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Municipality submitted that on 19.02.2026 the tender-cum-auction notice has been published fixing the date for tender-cum-auction as 06.03.2026. To that

effect, he has circulated a copy of the tender-cum-auction notice to us for consideration. Further, he submitted that the paper publication has also been effected one issue of Tamil Daily, namely, Dinakaran on 24.02.2026.

4. Since the representation of the petitioner has been duly considered and appropriate orders have been passed by the respondents, recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Municipality, this writ petition is disposed of.
