ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to provide Police Protection to life and limb of the Petitioner from the Respondents 4 to 8.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the wife of the fourth respondent. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the Councilor of 4th Ward, Soolakkarai Panchayat, Virudhunagar District. The fourth respondent / husband is making frequent trouble to her to resign the above said post.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was 2/4

undertaken. During the course of enquiry, it was found that there was some sort of trouble regarding matrimonial affairs and also the child. The fourth respondent also given undertaking to the effect that he will not make any trouble to the petitioner. Based on the above said undertaking, the enquiry was closed in C.No.10/2023 dated 03.03.2023 by the third respondent herein.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of 07.03.2023 NCC :
