This petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.17 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that already they have filed the final report after completion of the investigation and same was taken on file by the Additional Mahila Court, Dindigul in C.C.No.922 of 2022. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3. Since the prayer of the petitioners is to quash the F.I.R, already the first respondent police filed the final report and the same has been taken cognizance by the Trial Court and even as per the F.I.R, there are some allegations to constitute the offences, it is for the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if they are aggrieved. In view of the same, preserving the liberty of the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, this criminal Page No. 2 of 4

original petition is closed. Consequently, connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
