This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case/FIR on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25.09.2017 and investigate into the case. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, when the case was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered a case on 24.04.2017 in Crime No.160 of 2017 for offence under Section 379 of I.P.C. Therefore, the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
