ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint, dated 06.04.2018 and to proceed as per law within the time frame.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner has filed a petition against one Krishnaveni, who is working as Adi Dravidar Tribal Welfare Officer in Virudhunagar District, for misusing her official power in allocating the work among the contractors and it is prayed to direct the second respondent to register the case against the Official. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that there is no specific allegation against the Official. The Director, DVAC,

Chennai, has forwarded the petition filed by the petitioner, dated 06.02.2018 to the Director, Adi Dravida Welfare Department, Chepauk, for taking action if any. The second respondent has taken action according to the instruction issued in Government memo No.1356/64/2, Public (Services-B) dated 08.04.1964.

4.A perusal of the records shows that an enquiry is being carried on in pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Only after the enquiry is over, and after a report from the Director, Adi Dravida Welfare Department, the authority concerned can take action. Till such time, this petition is not maintainable and hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
