ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection for surveying the land bearing Survey No.375 situated in Rengappanaiyakenpatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District by the third respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2018 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for surveying his property on an earlier occasion about two years back and the same was obstructed by the fourth respondent, who is no way connected with his property and therefore, he seeks police protection.

4. The petitioner is now required to apply for survey and the Surveyor while issuing notice to the petitioner and other adjacent owner shall also intimate the second respondent about the date of his proposed visit and on such date, the second respondent police is required to give such necessary protection for Surveyor to perform his official duty.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
