Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent police to conduct an enquiry based on the petitioner's compliant dated 28.12.2023 on the file of the 3rd respondent police and consequently, to direct to take necessary action as soon as possible.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent police to conduct an enquiry based on the petitioner's compliant dated 28.12.2023 on the file of the 3rd respondent police and consequently, to direct to take necessary action as soon as possible. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2.The complaint was preferred against the petitioner's wife and mother-in-law. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the accused appeared before the respondents but the petitioner has not submitted the relevant documents and has not participated in the enquiry. 4.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 3rd respondent on 04.03.2026 with all relevant documents and the 3rd respondent shall conduct the enquiry. The said enquiry shall be conducted under the supervision of the second respondent.

5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
