Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners on 03.03.2025 under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, praying 1/3
to grant an order of pre-arrest bail.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.C.M.Arumugam, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner had filed Crl.O.P. (MD) No.1969 of 2025 before co-ordinate Judge of this Court praying to quash the FIR in Crime No.10 of 2024 on the file of the respondent-police, and the said petition was allowed. The relevant portion of the order is extracted hereunder: "9. On careful perusal of the above said judgments they will not be applicable to the present facts of the case. In the case on hand there is no any allegation in the First Information Report to constitute the offence as against this petitioner.
10. In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.10 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police is hereby quashed as against this petitioner. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition stands closed."

3. In view of the above, the petitioner has no reasonable apprehension of arrest at the hands of the respondent-police. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
