O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to release the petitioner's retirement benefits to the tune of Rs.13,56,182/-, based on the representations dated 03.09.2018 and 03.10.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 3 and the learned standing counsel for the second respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that except the gratuity amount, he has not been paid with any other terminal benefits viz., balance of salary, Provident Fund, Surrender salary etc., Hence, he made the representations dated 03.09.2018 and 03.10.2018 to the respondents. Since the same have not been considered so far, this writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2018 with regard to retirement benefits and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
