Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to sanction the annual increment for the year 2018 and the monthly salary from the month of Sep 2019 to the petitioner without any stoppage within the time period, stipulated by this Court.

This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order, dated 23.10.2019, made in W.P.(MD) No.22439 of 2019.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the order and directions have been duly complied with and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Educational Officer, Aruppukottai, dated 15.09.2021. This fact is also acknowledged by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
