ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner's land was acquired under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Lands for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997. The petitioner is not satisfied with the compensation awarded. The petitioner seeks reference under Section 8 of the Act.

3. The first respondent must make reference to the jurisdictional civil Court. The petitioner has already made a request. The first respondent is directed to take step as per Section 8 of the Act within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After the reference is received, it shall be duly numbered by the jurisdictional civil Court and disposed of as expeditiously as possible.
