PRAYER in W.P.(MD) No.5613 of 2020: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration, to declare the provisional selection of the candidates to the Original Certificate Verification and counseling to the post of Steno-Typists (Grade III) included in Combined Civil Services Examination IV (Group-IV) 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 dated 06.03.2020 as illegal insofar as not including the petitioner and consequently direct the respondent to select and appoint the petitioner in the post of Steno-Typist (Grade III) under the category of MBC/DNC in view of the marks secured by the petitioner in the written examination conducted on 01.09.2019 in the event of the petitioner coming within the zone of consideration within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

PRAYER in W.P.(MD) No.5763 of 2020: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration, to declare the provisional selection of candidates to the Original Certificate Verification and Counselling to the post of Typist included in Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group-IV) 201819 and 2019-2020 as illegal insofar as not including the petitioner and consequently for a direction, directing the respondent to select and appoint the petitioner in the post of Typist under the category of MBC (W) in view of the marks secured by the Petitioner in the Written Examination conducted on 01.09.2019 in the event of the petitioner coming within the zone of consideration within the time 1/3

period as stipulated by this Court.

PRAYER in W.P.(MD) No.5848 of 2020: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration, to declare the provisional selection of the candidates to the Original Certificate Verification and counseling to the post of Steno-Typists (Grade III) included in Combined Civil Services Examination IV (Group-IV) 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 dated 06.03.2020 as illegal insofar as not including the petitioner and consequently direct the respondent to select and appoint the petitioner in the post of Steno-Typist (Grade III) under the category of Backward Class in view of the marks secured by the petitioner in the written examination conducted on 01.09.2019 in the event of the petitioner coming within the zone of consideration within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner / M.Petchiammal in W.P.(MD) No.5613 of 2020 belongs to MBC/DC (W) and had secured 165 marks. The marks secured by the last selected candidate in this category is 180. Likewise, the petitioner / P.Selvi in W.P. No.5763 of 2020 belongs to MBC (W) and had secured 229.50 marks. The marks secured by the last selected candidate in this category is 237. Similarly, the petitioner/ L.Subrabadevi in W.P.(MD) No.5848 of 2020 belongs to BC (W) and had secured 156 marks. The marks secured by the last selected candidate in this category is 193.5. Apparently, the petitioners herein, had not come under the Zone of Consideration and therefore, the 2/3

petitioners have not qualified themselves for selection. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
