ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the Family Card vide No.NPHH 333429152503 based on the petitioner's

representation dated 14.03.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the wife of one Mahendran. Due to a matrimonial dispute, they have been living separately. A family card bearing No.NPHH 333429152503 was issued earlier, which included the name of the petitioner also. However, her name has now been removed. In such circumstances, she has given a representation on 14.03.2022 to the respondents requesting them to include her name in the aforementioned Family Card. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, she has filed this writ petition.

3.Heard Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner, Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 and Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the fourth respondent.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the representation of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner as well as her husband, Mahendran, as well as any other necessary party, whom the respondents deems fit to enquire. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2022 requesting the third respondent to include her name in the Family Card vide No.NPHH 333429152503 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, her husband, Mahendran, as well as any other necessary party, whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
