O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to handover the petitioner's MG HECTOR car bearing registration no. TN 75 AT 7337 which is in illegal custody of the respondents by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2023.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that a case in Crime No.96 of 2023 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468, 471 and 506(i) of IPC on 08.03.2023.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not aware of the registration of the FIR and this petition has been filed on 07.03.2023.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that the property has been seized from the petitioner and the same was remanded before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Padmanapapuram. 2/4

5. Since the property has already been remanded before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Padmanapapuram, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to workout his remedy before the concerned Court through the appropriate proceedings. No Costs.
