The instant writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2019 and disburse the petitioner's share of compensation amount for the lands acquired in S.No. 299/1A15 situated at Parali Pudur, Natham Taluk Dindigul District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed before this Court a letter dated 25.02.2019 sent by the National Highways Authority of India to the Competent Authority and Special District revenue Officer, Land Acquisition (NH785), Dindigul wherein the National Highways Authority of India has forwarded the representation given by the petitioner seeking compensation for the acquired lands to the competent authority and Special District Revenue Officer, Land Acquisition, Dindigul for necessary action.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid letter can be recorded by this Court and the writ petition can be closed. Accordingly, the letter dated 25.02.2019 sent by the National Highways Authority of India to the Competent Authority and Special District Revenue Officer, Land Acquisition, Dindigul is recorded by this Court.
4. Since the representation of the petitioner is now being considered by the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders within a period of eight(08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
