This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to register a criminal case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.11.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 22.11.2017, a case has already been registered in Crime No.350 of 2017, for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 451, 427, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) I.P.C. on the file of the respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
