ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct fair enquiry, based on the representation made by the petitioner on 09.02.2021, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the cancellation of the tax assessment made in the name of the second respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Madurai Corporation submitted that the petitioner was not able to submit any document to support his claim to assess the property tax in his name. In view of the same, the Corporation did not find any ground to cancel the property tax that is assessed in the name of the second respondent.

3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
