Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's claim of transfer on mutual consent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2017, which was forwarded by the 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent vide his proceedings Na.Ka.No.W3/23702/2017 dated 16.11.2017 in conformity with GO(Ms) No.122 Adi Dravidar and Palangudiyinar Welfare Department dated 23.07.2018 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's application for transfer on mutual consent.

2.Heard both sides. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The petitioner is before this Court as her application dated 22.08.2017, seeking for her transfer on mutual consent, followed by a reminder dated 29.01.2018 is kept pending without there being any orders passed.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the claim of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.Under such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the 1st respondent, to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.08.2017 and 29.01.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of GO(Ms)No.122 Adi-Dravidar and Palangudiyinar Welfare Department dated 23.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
