O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an proper enquiry and take necessary and appropriate action on the 3rd respondent based on the petitioner's complaint dated 31.12.2024 in accordance with law. 2.According to the petitioner, he lodged a complaint before the second respondent for the job racketeering committed by the third respondent, for which, C.S.R.No.1016 of 2024 was assigned and thereafter, the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that already based on the petitioner's complaint, enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed on 04.12.2024 on the ground of territorial jurisdiction. In fact the said 2/5

occurrence took place within the jurisdiction of Sangarankoil Town Police Station. Therefore, the petitioner was advised to approach Sangarankoil Town Police Station and the complaint was closed. He would further submit that the complaint dated 31.12.2024 has not been received by the second respondent. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to dispose of this petition. 5.Since the petitioner's complaint was closed on the ground of territorial jurisdiction, it is for the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional police station seeking appropriate remedy. With the said observation, this writ petition is closed.
