Respondents (R3 is impleaded vide order dated.12.01.2024 in W.M.P.(MD)No.977/2024 Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the impugned notice of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.44/2020/Aa1, dated 06.03.2020 and quash the same.
COMMON ORDER The learned Presiding Officer has submitted a letter seeking an extension of time, stating the reasons therein, and has requested a further period of six months to dispose of the suits.
2. It is observed that when the matter was listed for trial, at that stage, the legal heirs were impleaded, and the matter is now pending for carrying out amendments and for filing the amended plaint.
3. Since this Court has directed that the matter be disposed of within a stipulated time, the parties shall cooperate. The proceedings cannot be prolonged in this manner. With regard to the usual procedure of impleading legal heirs and filing amended plaints, the parties concerned shall forthwith file the amended plaint.

4. Accordingly, the time extension as prayed for is granted. However, it is made clear that this shall not be construed as a license to grant long adjournments to the parties. The suit shall be posted at short intervals, and on each such date, progress must be made with respect to the trial.
5. Despite the direction of this Court, it is noted that the trial has not yet commenced. Therefore, all parties are directed to cooperate, and the time extension sought by the learned Presiding Officer is granted. 15.04.2026 smn2 Copy to:- 1.The Principal District Judge, Madurai.
