ORDER

Petition has been filed seeking permission to hold the petition mentioned events.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) brought to my notice that the Government issued G.O.No.347, dated 16.03.2020 putting in place preventive and precautionary measures in the wake of corona pandemic.

3.Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that they will not hold Adal Padal and even Pongal function at the temple and that only 10 persons will assemble for lighting ornamental lamps in the temple. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.I am of the view that no objection can be raised if the petitioner is permitted to conduct lighting of ornamental lamps in the petition mentioned temple. The petitioner will ensure that not more than 10 persons assemble for the said event. 5.On these terms, this writ petition is allowed. No costs.
