Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner is none other than the son of the 6th respondent. The 6th respondent executed the settlement deed in favour of the petitioner on 18.03.2011. Subsequently, the 6th respondent cancelled the same unilaterally. The petitioner has therefore instituted O.S.No.274 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Pudukkottai seeking the relief of declaration and permanent injunction. In the meanwhile, the 6th respondent should not create any further encumbrances.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the 6th respondent submitted that the 6th respondent will contest the suit filed by the petitioner and that till the disposal of the suit, no further alienation or encumbrances will be made.

4. Recording the said undertaking, the Writ Petition is disposed of. I also hope that the outstanding issues between the petitioner and the 6th respondent will be amicably resolved through the process of mediation. No costs.
