O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first and second respondents to consider and pass orders on the application, dated 09.04.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 09.04.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection to celebrate programme which is to be held on 25.04.2018 at Sri Pagavathiamman Temple festival. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 09.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 24.04.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
