The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that the third Respondent is the daughter of the Petitioner's sister-in-law. She insisted the petitioner to marry her son to the daughter of the third Respondent. The Petitioner refused stating that the daughter of the third Respondent is minor. The third Respondent is alleged to have represented the Petitioner that now betrothal ceremony can be conducted and marriage may be fixed after the daughter of the third Respondent attain the age of majority. Still the Petitioner refused. At that time, the third Respondent is alleged to have threatened that she will initiate cases against the Petitioner's son for the offences attracting Protection of Children from Sexual Offences as her brothers are serving in the Police Department. Therefore, the Petitioner had filed this petition seeking direction not to harass her. 2.It is the further submission of the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner that the second Respondent had contacted the petitioner on mobile and directed her to attend enquiry. Therefore, scared of appearing 2/5
before the Respondent Police, the Petitioner had approached this Court seeking direction against the Respondents 1 and 2. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions of the Respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the third Respondent when approached the second Respondent, the second Respondent refused to entertain the complaint stating that it is beyond their jurisdiction and directed her to approach All Women Police Station, Madurai South. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that till now, the Respondents 1 and 2 does not have any information whether the third Respondent approached the All Women Police Station.
4.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
