This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the cultural programme to be celebrated on 28.04.2018 at about 08.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2018 in connection with the Chithrai Festival at Arulmigu Karumariamman Temple Festival, Edamalaipattiputhur, Trichy District.
