This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to establish Permanent DPC (Direct Purchase centre) for Paddy procurement in S.Nos.97/A and 97/B, total extent of 0.7 Hectare, 41.5 Ares, Government Poromboke land, situated at Nadivikottai village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 1/3

22.01.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would submit that Permanent DPC (Direct Purchase centre) for Paddy procurement sought for by the petitioner will be implemented within a period of two months, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2022. The said intimation given by the respondents is recorded. 4.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to establish Permanent DPC (Direct Purchase centre) for Paddy procurement in S.Nos.97/A and 97/B, total extent of 0.7 Hectare, 41.

5 Ares, Government Poromboke land, situated at Nadivikottai village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2022 within a period of two [2] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
