ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to appoint the petitioner's daughter on compassionate ground by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.11.2016.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that her husband Ramachandran was working in the Agriculture Department and he died on 20.08.2008, while he was in service. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 21.11.2016 seeking compassionate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appointment to her daughter and the same was forwarded to the third respondent and the third respondent recommended the same to the second respondent, vide letter dated 16.12.2016 and it was under process. Subsequently, there was no progress and hence, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
5. Considering the nature of the prayer as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2016 seeking compassionate appointment to her daughter and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and in line with the recommendation of the third respondent, dated 16.12.2016, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if there are no other legal impediments, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
